So if you’ve been watching Youtube or reading through some of the gaming sites you’ll know that the D&D playing world is currently in conflict with WOTC / Hasbro. I’m not going to get into the legalities here, because I’m not a lawyer and others have covered it much better than I ever could.
What I am going to say is what I’m going to do about it.
I don’t have a subscription with WOTC or DNDBeyond. I’ve lost faith in WOTC to produce materials for D&D and that isn’t a recent thing. Third party games companies have been doing it better and I’ve always been a fan of homebrew.
So I’m taking a break from D&D.
What am I going to be doing?
Simple, trying the huge number of game systems that I’ve been collecting over the years with the intention of playing.
I’ve also been making generators to help would be DMs / GMs / Referees run their games which you can find at http://Natural20.tools
I’m also working on some materials for Call of Cthulhu and I’ll be honest I’m loving what I’m seeing there.
And guess what? I’m loving it.
